Not just a building, a system
Every AFI house is designed, fabricated, and constructed to generate results. Made locally in our Subic Bay factory and transported to site for fast erection, with no on-site cutting or welding.
Arch structural design
- The strongest structural form for a clear span, designed for compression loads
- No weak points in the arch, unlike straight members
- Loads distributed down to vertical columns and footings
- Camber designed to resist high wind loads, rated over 250 kph
- Curved roof also reduces radiant heat, the source of most unwanted heat entering a house
Trusses and purlins
- Pre-galvanised tube trusses for hanging equipment every 3 m
- Drop ceiling supported every 1.5 m
- Curved at the ceiling attachment for better airflow
- Galvanised high-strength steel Z-purlins for a strong roof structure
Sidewalls and end walls
- 75 mm PU panels with pre-painted GI as standard
- High-density PU (40 kg) with excellent thermal resistance, R-value 17
- Tongue and groove assembly for an airtight fit and easy installation
- Smooth, easy to clean, with zero airflow impediment
Roof and ceiling
- Triple-ply UPVC exterior roof panels with anti-siphoning design. They will never rust
- UPVC interior ceiling for an improved seal and long service life
- Stainless steel and capped fasteners throughout
- Cellulose ceiling insulation manufactured by our sister company IFI

Feeding systems
Chore-Time's proven feeding systems get birds off to a good start, minimise wasted feed, and provide consistent access to fresh feed. AFI installs the complete system: Konavi feed pans, plastic feed line hoppers, and feed bins.
- Konavi pans let beaks in and keep feet out, cutting feed waste and contamination
- First-in-first-out feed bins keep feed fresh and pest-free
- Spring-lock bin lids resist wind and rain, with remote access options for biosecurity
Drinking systems
Nipple drinker systems engineered for the demands of the Philippine environment, considering water quality, supply, accessibility, flow rate, pressure, and ease of cleaning.

Tunnel ventilation
The MagFan by DACS holds the record as the best fan ever tested at BESS Lab, University of Illinois (2019). It is the heart of AFI's tunnel ventilation design.

- Direct drive: no belts and effectively no maintenance
- Cuts fan energy use dramatically compared with conventional fans

Complete climate control
The right climate benefits growth and health, and saves water and energy. AFI integrates every element of the climate system so the controller, fans, cooling, and insulation work as one.
